IO Interactive has confirmed the release date for 007 First Light on Nintendo Switch 2. After being delayed twice for technical reasons, the spy action game is now scheduled to arrive on Nintendo’s hybrid console on March 18, 2027. The studio has also released a dedicated trailer for this version.
Pre-orders are already available. Players who pre-order the game will receive the GoldenEye outfit, which appears to reference the iconic GoldenEye 007 originally released for the Nintendo 64.
A Deluxe Edition is also available for $69.99. It includes four additional outfits, along with weapon and gadget skins. A physical edition has also been confirmed, although further details have yet to be announced.
007 First Light launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in May 2026. The game received positive reviews from critics and players, and its sales later surpassed 4 million copies.
