100 Thieves Secure Their First International Title at EWC 2026

The first week of the Esports World Cup 2026 concluded with a historic victory for the American organization 100 Thieves in VALORANT.

In the grand final, the team defeated the reigning VALORANT Champions 2025 winners, NRG, with a score of 3-1. This triumph earned 100 Thieves the first international trophy in the club's history, $600,000 in prize money, and 1,000 Club Championship points.

Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP).

The EWC 2026 organizers have released the final standings table for the VALORANT tournament, which determines the distribution of prize money and points for the overall Club Championship among all 16 participating teams:

1st place: 100 Thieves — $600,000 and 1,000 club points.

2nd place: NRG — $340,000 and 750 club points.

3rd place: Nongshim RedForce — $220,000 and 500 club points.

4th place: BBL Esports — $140,000 and 300 club points.

5th–8th places: MIBR.LOS, Team Vitality, Team Heretics, Gentle Mates — $90,000 and 200 club points each.

9th–12th places: EDward Gaming, Karmine Corp, G2 Esports, All Gamers — $55,000 each (club points are not awarded for these positions).

13th–16th places: Rex Regum Qeon, Paper Rex, XLG Esports, Global Esports — received $30,000 in prize money each.

This triumph became a defining moment in the career of Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk. The player remained loyal to 100 Thieves for over five years and went through numerous roster rebuilds to finally secure his first major international trophy.
