oskar has announced his retirement as a professional player and his transition into coaching.
In his post on X, he said that looking back on his “turbulent career” and the mistakes he made along the way, he is still proud of his achievements, which exceeded his initial expectations. At the same time, he emphasized that he has lost enough energy and motivation to continue competing at a professional level, and therefore decided to take the next step in his career — becoming a coach, using his 20 years of experience in Counter-Strike.
The most successful period of oskar’s career came during his time with MOUZ, where he won four major tournaments:
- ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 (MVP)
- StarSeries i-League Season 4
- V4 Future Sports Festival 2018 (MVP)
- ESL One New York 2018
He also made it into HLTV’s Top 20 Players twice — ranking 16th in 2017 and 14th in 2018.
As a reminder, brazilian legend FalleN has announced that he will retire at the end of this year
