Two Brothers Pictures are working on a TV series based on the video game Atomfall by Rebellion Developments, according to Deadline.
The series is being developed as a co-production between Two Brothers and Rebellion. The script will be written by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning writer-producers and founders of Two Brothers, Harry Williams and Jack Williams.
Jason Kingsley, CEO and Creative Director of Rebellion, and Chris Kingsley, co-founder and CTO of the company, will serve as executive producers on the show.
Atomfall is a post-apocalyptic game set in a fenced and militarized quarantine zone in England’s Lake District, created after a nuclear incident. The game won Best British Game at the BAFTA Games Awards this month, and more than 3.7 million players have explored its world since its launch last year.
The game was developed based on an original idea by Jason Kingsley, who co-founded Rebellion with his brother Chris Kingsley. It was inspired by the real-life Windscale fire, which remains the worst nuclear disaster in the history of the United Kingdom.
As a reminder, the dates for national and regional qualifiers for Dota 2 and CS2 at the Esports Nations Cup 2026 have been announced.
