Alan Wake Remastered receives an update with HDR support and up to 240 FPS

Remedy Entertainment has released update 1.33 for Alan Wake Remastered on the Epic Games Store. The patch focuses on technical improvements, as the developers reworked visual effects, made gameplay adjustments, and optimized the user interface.

One of the standout additions is implemented HDR support alongside an increased frame rate cap. The game can now run at up to 240 frames per second. An additional camera mode with a more modern presentation style has also been added.

The update further addresses a range of technical issues. Camera mechanics have been refined, weapon switch timing adjusted, and vegetation animation improved, particularly at high frame rates. Special attention has been given to ultrawide monitor support, with fixes applied to cutscenes, field of view, and visual effects. Mouse input issues have been resolved, and flexible UI scaling options have been introduced.
