Sensors are considered one of the rarer Topside crafting materials in ARC Raiders. Players can discover them in Technological and Security type areas across different maps. They are essential for crafting the Explosive Mine, Tagging Grenade, and especially the Raider Hatch Key.
Because Sensors can appear in various locations, many players look for the most efficient way to collect them in bulk. Below you will find every method of obtaining Sensors, along with a fast and practical farming route.
How to Obtain Sensors in ARC Raiders
There are two primary ways to secure Sensors. The first option is buying them through the Vendors tab. Celeste offers Sensors for 10 Seeds each. She stocks 5 at a time, and her inventory refreshes daily. This guarantees up to five Sensors per day if you have enough Seeds available. If you prefer to save your currency, you can search for Sensors directly on Topside instead.
When looting, focus on breachable metal cabinets. These containers appear in multiple areas, but Stella Montis stands out as the most efficient farming location. In particular, the Assembly Workshop and Medical Research buildings contain several cabinets worth checking.
A simple and low risk strategy is to carry only a Raider Hatch Key in your Safe Pocket and avoid bringing additional gear.
★ If you spawn far from the Assembly Workshop, you can surrender immediately without losing anything.
If your spawn point is nearby, move straight to the building and begin breaching cabinets while looting every drawer you see. In most runs, you can collect one or two stacks of Sensors along with Processors and other tech materials. After filling your inventory, head east of the Assembly Workshop to locate a hatch that allows safe extraction to Esperanza.
Pilgrim's Peak on the Blue Gate map is another strong farming location. The interior features numerous cabinets to breach, though you should stay alert due to the heavy ARC presence, including units like Fireball that patrol the area.
