Ubisoft has confirmed that filming for the live-action Assassin's Creed adaptation by Netflix has officially begun.
According to Ubisoft’s official page on X (formerly Twitter), the series will take place in Ancient Rome in 64 AD.
"Ancient Rome, 64 AD… Filming of the live-action Assassin's Creed series has begun! Starring Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Laura Marcus, Tenzing Crawford, Zachary Hart, Claes Bang, Nabhaan Rizwan and more," Ubisoft said in a post on X.
The cast of the show has also been confirmed. It includes Toby Wallace ("Babyteeth") and Lola Petticrew ("Say Nothing") among the lead actors. The full announced cast includes:
