The Ukrainian team B8 faced NRG today in the lower bracket elimination match at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026. Both teams ended up in this match after losing to significantly stronger opponents in the upper bracket. B8 were unable to challenge the American side and lost 0–2.
The Ukrainian club is now eliminated from BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, finishing in last place and thereby hurting their chances of qualifying for the Major. There are still slim hopes of earning points through Tier-2 tournaments, but they will need to put in a very strong performance to do so.
