The final Group A and Group B matches of the VALORANT tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026 were played on July 6, completing the lineup for the next stage of the competition.
The final playoff spot from Group A was claimed by BBL Esports. In the decisive group-stage match, the Turkish squad defeated EDward Gaming 2:0, winning Lotus 13:4 and Breeze 13:5.
From Group B, NRG secured qualification after defeating Karmine Corp 2:1. NRG won Breeze 13:6, lost Fracture 7:13, and closed out the series with a 13:7 victory on Haven.
Earlier, 100 Thieves, Team Vitality, Gentle Mates, and Team Heretics had already secured their places in the playoffs.
The teams eliminated from the tournament are EDward Gaming, Karmine Corp, Paper Rex, Rex Regum Qeon, Global Esports, and XLG Esports.
As a reminder, Xbox is cutting 3,200 jobs as part of a major restructuring.
