Tournament organizer BLAST has opened the application process for cities interested in hosting events in 2027 and 2028. The announcement was published on the organizer’s official website.
The company will consider bids to host tournaments across all disciplines in its portfolio, namely Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Fortnite, and Rainbow Six. Cities interested in hosting an event must express their interest by February 13. The final deadline for events scheduled in 2027 is March 16, while the deadline for interested parties for 2028 events is July 3.
BLAST notes that its events bring significant economic and tourism value to host cities. On average, more than 70% of fans travel from outside the host city, daily fan spending exceeds $200, and a high rate of repeat attendance is driven by the live event experience.
BLAST plans to host at least 40 arena events over the next two years.
As a reminder, B8are one step away from BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, with everything to be decided at IEM Kraków.
