BLAST Slam VII is one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments of the 2026 season. The competition will take place both online and on LAN in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the BLAST Studio.
Twelve teams will compete for a massive prize pool and the championship title.
BLAST Slam VII Schedule
The tournament will run for almost two weeks — from May 26 to June 7, 2026.
The event schedule is divided into three key stages:
- Group Stage: May 26–29 (online format).
- Last Chance Qualifier: May 30.
- Playoffs: June 4–7. Matches in this stage will be played live from the BLAST studio in Copenhagen.
Format
Like previous tournaments in the series, BLAST Slam VII is divided into several stages: Group Stage, LCQ, and Playoffs.
Group Stage:
- 12 teams compete in a single round-robin group.
- All matches are played in a Best-of-1 format.
- Teams finishing 1st and 2nd advance directly to the upper bracket semifinals of the playoffs.
- Teams finishing 3rd and 4th advance to the upper bracket quarterfinals.
- Teams placing 5th–10th move to the Last Chance bracket.
- The two lowest-ranked teams (11th–12th place) are eliminated from the tournament.
Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ):
- All matches in this stage are played in a Best-of-3 format.
- The top two teams advance to the upper bracket quarterfinals of the playoffs, while the remaining teams are eliminated.
Playoffs:
- Classic double-elimination bracket.
- Almost all matches are Best-of-3, while the grand final will be the only Best-of-5 series.

A total of 12 teams will participate in the tournament. Eight of them received direct invitations from the organizers based on previous achievements, while four secured their slots through tough regional qualifiers.

Prize Pool
The twelve participating teams will compete for a substantial $1,000,000 prize pool. The total amount is split into two categories: $750,000 allocated as tournament winnings and an additional $250,000 guaranteed as Team Earnings.
The prize distribution for the top teams is as follows:
- 1st place: $300,000 (+ $100,000 team earnings)
- 2nd place: $150,000 (+ $45,000 team earnings)
- 3rd place: $70,000 (+ $23,000 team earnings)
- 4th place: $50,000 (+ $17,000 team earnings)
- 5th–6th places: $40,000 (+ $15,000 team earnings)
- 7th–8th places: $25,000 (+ $10,000 team earnings)
- 9th–10th places: $15,000 (+ $5,000 team earnings)
- 11th–12th places: $10,000 (+ $2,500 team earnings)
