A new extraction shooter named BR1 Infinite is gaining popularity on social media. The game is attracting attention with its controversial model: users are promised payment for playing. The stated earnings are $10 per hour plus $1 for each kill. However, there is a key catch—every spawn on the map costs $1, creating a direct risk of financial loss for players.
The developer is Bravo Ready Studios, a company specializing in gambling and consumer technology. They already have experience creating real-money platforms and blockchain games (Clutch Casino, Slabz, Dolly.gg, Honeyland, and Cambria). The studio positions BR1 Infinite as the first real-money extraction shooter and claims backing from KRAFTON, Solana Ventures, and 6MV.
Currently, the game is available exclusively on PC via an invite system with a limited number of spots. The project's economy and stated monetization require players to:
- Maintain a positive kill-to-death ratio.
- Loot and successfully extract cash drops.
- Earn and sell in-game skins and operatives.
The developers claim to have already paid out over $100,000 to testers, who, however, played with free spawns. Despite the impressive figures, the game's concept faces severe criticism.
The introduction of real money into a shooter creates massive risks for fair play, inevitably incentivizing cheating, the use of prohibited software (such as ESP), and account boosting. Experts and the community point out that the project looks more like a skill-based wagering platform created by a company closely tied to the gambling business.
Suspicions are heightened by the project's strange social media history. Some profiles have existed for about 15 years (one in particular was created back in 2011) and have changed names seven times, finally settling on Bravo Ready Studios only in 2022, when the studio began mass-producing games.
The gameplay itself also looks highly questionable at the moment. Players are offered to control droids or apes on frankly half-baked maps, utilizing only basic shooter mechanics in an attempt to earn cash.
