Call of Duty League Returns to Europe: CDL 2027 Season Schedule Announced

The main highlight of the announced Call of Duty League 2027 schedule is the franchise's official return to Europe and the United Kingdom. The new season, played on Modern Warfare 4, expands its international footprint following a record-breaking previous year marked by lightning-fast sellouts and massive audiences.

The European focus will set the tone right at the start of the competitive year. On February 12, the first tournament of the season will take place in Europe — Activision is keeping the exact location under wraps for now, but confirmation is expected shortly. In April, the league will head to the UK for the DreamHack Birmingham festival as part of Major II. Last year's event in Birmingham set a record as the fastest-selling tournament in Call of Duty history. The upcoming tournament is expected to generate just as much excitement, as it will be further bolstered by a LAN Pro-Am format featuring Challengers series teams.

This European expansion could very well extend to the season's climax. The final Call of Duty League Championship is scheduled for July 8, hosted by OpTic Texas — the 2024 and 2025 champions. The organization has repeatedly stated its desire to take COD Champs outside of North America for the first time in history, making the exact venue for the finals the biggest intrigue.

Beyond the European stages, the season's schedule will cover North American venues:
