In the coming weeks, Resident Evil fans are in for two major milestones the release of a new entry titled Requiem and the 30th anniversary of the iconic zombie horror franchise.
Capcom continues to fuel excitement by releasing a steady stream of new content.
The Japanese developer has shared a video on social media highlighting the 30 year evolution of zombies throughout the Resident Evil series.
The footage features the franchise’s signature monsters, starting with the clumsy pixel based creatures faced by Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and Jill Valentine in the early games, and moving on to the highly detailed enemies seen in modern remakes. The video also offers a first look at a completely new Infected enemy from the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem.
The clip clearly illustrates the significant technical and artistic progress the Resident Evil series has achieved over three decades.
