The Ukrainian virtual motorsport community DRS (DARK RACE SIMCLUB) continues to gain momentum in its second 2026 season. Today, March 24 at 20:00, Round 4 of Season 2 will take place in Assetto Corsa. This time the grid heads to Austria to challenge the fast and technical Red Bull Ring circuit.
he organizers prepared a twist — the race will use a chicane configuration, breaking the usual high-speed flow of the track. Drivers can expect an aggressive rhythm: long acceleration zones, heavy braking, quick direction changes, and full throttle again.
Weapon of the round — KTM X-BOW
All drivers will compete in a single-make class using the lightweight KTM X-BOW.
No roof, minimal electronics, and maximum reliance on aerodynamics and mechanical grip make this car extremely demanding. Its short wheelbase punishes rough inputs but rewards clean racing lines and brave late braking — especially before the chicane.
Safety and fair racing first
More than 30 drivers are already registered (34 of 50 slots), which guarantees heavy traffic on track.
However, the race will remain controlled:
- Server uses RealPenalty system
- Car damage set to 60%
- Strict Safety Rating (SR) rules are active — cleaner racing means higher rating
Expect a tough Austrian battle where lightweight machines meet heavy braking zones.
