Riot Games has announced a significant expansion of the Brazilian league’s representation on the international League of Legends stage in 2026.
Brazil’s CBLOL will now send two teams to the League of Legends World Championship 2026 instead of one. This change increases the total number of tournament participants to 19 teams.
In addition, a CBLOL representative will receive a direct spot in the playoffs of the Mid-Season Invitational 2026, skipping the Play-In stage.
MSI 2026 will take place from June 28 to July 12 in Daejeon, South Korea. Worlds 2026 will be held from October 15 to November 14 across three cities in the United States:
- Los Angeles — Play-In stage
- Allen — group stage and quarterfinals/semifinals
- Brooklyn — Grand Final
Reminder: HBO has cast actors for the roles of Yara and Lev in Season 3 of The Last of Us.
