CCT Global Finals 2026: Season Finals to Take Place in Portugal on LAN with $75,000 Prize Pool and Eight Top Teams Fighting for the Title

Champion of Champions Tour organizers have revealed full details for CCT Global Finals 2026 in CS2 — the concluding event of the season, set to take place from April 23 to 26 in Portugal at the SAW Esports Arena in Vila Nova de Gaia. Eight teams will compete in the final stage to determine the champion through a double-elimination bracket, with all matches played in a BO3 format, while the Grand Final will be a BO5 series.

Six teams will receive direct invites through the global VRS ranking, starting from squads placed outside the world’s top 12, while the remaining two spots will go to the winners of the Parken Challenger Championship tournaments. Tournament organizers have also outlined replacement rules in case of team withdrawals to ensure competitive integrity and schedule stability.

The event will feature a $75,000 prize pool, split between clubs and players, with the champions taking home $30,000. Teams will need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses, and attendance at the venue from the morning of the first matchday will be mandatory.

The tournament will carry Tier-2 status, with official invites scheduled to be sent out in March. Organizers also emphasized that no SAW employees will be involved in tournament administration, and if SAW competes, the team will not receive any special treatment.

The Global Finals will serve as the closing event of the CCT season, bringing together strong tier-2 teams looking to break into the top competitive scene and secure invites to bigger tournaments throughout the year.

Earlier, it was also reported that an American prospect received a permanent FACEIT ban for ban evasion.
