CD Projekt Red has officially announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive a major new expansion titled Songs of the Past. The expansion will be publicly unveiled for the first time at Gamescom 2026 in August, with its release scheduled for 2027—more than 11 years after the launch of the original game.
The developers have invited fans to visit the entertainment area at Gamescom 2026 to get an early look at the upcoming release. It remains unclear whether the studio will only present a trailer or prepare a fully playable demo for attendees.
According to CD Projekt Red representatives, Songs of the Past is a project of considerable scale. Marcin Łukaszewski, the studio’s social media manager, encouraged fans not to refer to the expansion as a typical “DLC,” suggesting that it will offer a much larger experience than a standard add-on.
Within the community, speculation continues that the story of Songs of the Past could serve as a bridge to the next chapter of the franchise, The Witcher 4.
As a reminder, NAVI Junior finished as runners-up at VALORANT Challengers 2026 EMEA: Stage 2, securing valuable EMEA Points and a place in the next stage of the competition.
