Valve has released a new update for Counter-Strike 2, changing the bomb explosion mechanics and its interaction with utility. From now on, the shockwave from a C4 detonation blows away smoke screens and completely snuffs out fire from Molotovs and incendiary grenades.
The interface received changes as well: the bomb damage health preview indicator now only appears once the explosive becomes audible to players.
As part of this patch, three maps were updated to their latest versions from the Community Workshop: Fachwerk, Boulder, and Debris.
Specific updates were also introduced to the Steam China client, adding a Workshop maps section and a quick-access shortcut to the community server list in the "Play" menu.
As a reminder, Roblox announced the launch of Build—an AI-powered game creation tool for mobile devices.
