Pearl Abyss has confirmed that development of its epic RPG Crimson Desert is officially complete. The game is now heading into console certification and physical disc production. The release is scheduled for March 19 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Crimson Desert is set in the world of Pywel, which is larger than the map of Red Dead Redemption 2 and nearly twice the size of Skyrim’s open world. Players can expect a vast and feature rich experience with mech piloting, battles against mechanical dragon bosses, floating puzzle islands, a deep combat system featuring magic and grappling techniques, and dozens of factions that make the world feel truly alive and expansive.
As a reminder, Nintendo maintains 21 year dominance in Japan as Switch 2 sales surpass 3.7 million.
