A new major update for Crimson Desert is set to arrive soon, and developer Pearl Abyss has already shared early details about upcoming features, including a new resource extraction system.
Since the game’s launch in March, Pearl Abyss has been actively supporting the title with frequent updates, bug fixes, and ongoing quality-of-life improvements alongside new content additions.
New features in the upcoming patch
The studio teased on social media that the update will arrive “within the next few days.” One of the additions includes new special mounts, expanding the roster beyond existing options such as the Polar Bear and the Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex.
Pearl Abyss also mentioned a new extraction feature, which is not related to the extraction shooter genre. This system will allow players to recover materials used during gear upgrade and refinement processes. However, full details, including how much material can be recovered, have not yet been revealed.
