Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind the Tomb Raider series, has announced another round of layoffs. This is at least the fourth wave of job cuts at the company over the past 12 months.
This time, 20 employees lost their jobs. The layoffs affected both developers and staff from central operational departments.
The company stated that the decision is related to current projects moving into new stages of development and the need to align the team structure with the studio’s long-term goals.
The studio assured fans that these changes will not affect the development of previously announced Tomb Raider titles.
