CD Projekt RED has released Update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077 to celebrate the second season of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. The patch is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release planned for a later date.
One of the biggest additions is the ability to wield two pistols or revolvers and fire them simultaneously. The developers have introduced a dedicated skill tree for this combat style. Players can also take advantage of more than 40 new animations for cyberware abilities.
The update also includes:
- A new quest called Clampdown, set before the events of Edgerunners Season 2
- King's gear set and new cosmetic options for Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowires, and the Projectile Launch System
- HKGN 102.0 FM, a new radio station featuring music from the anime
- A Night City tour connected to Richard Night
- Additional quests that affect the city's appearance, along with 12 new Tarot Arcana cards hidden throughout Night City
- New features for Photo Mode
- Cross-platform mod support powered by mod.io across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Console players can now install mods directly through the in-game menu
- DLSS 4.5 support with Multi Frame Generation
To celebrate the update's release, Cyberpunk 2077 is also available at a discounted price. The Ultimate Edition costs UAH 770.
