A major new chapter begins in Marvel Rivals this week. Season 8, titled Sins of Alchemax, will introduce not only new story developments but also unique playable characters.
The season’s storyline focuses on the headquarters of the Alchemax corporation, which remains a center of corruption even after the “Gilded Saint” cleansed Lower Manhattan of the Time Plague.
The biggest addition of the season, launching on May 15, will be Devil Dinosaur. The character officially becomes the 50th hero added to the game’s roster. His “Bite” attack inflicts a bleeding effect on enemies, while his ultimate ability allows him to grow into an even larger form and charge destructively across the battlefield.
The second new hero of the season will be Cyclops, who is scheduled to arrive in June 2026. According to the season trailer, the leader of the X-Men steps in to protect Lunella from Alchemax attackers before ultimately being captured.
As a reminder, Epic Games recently announced the upcoming collaboration between Overwatch and Fortnite.
