Each map in ARC Raiders has its own set of secrets and locked rooms that can reward players with valuable loot. These rooms require keys that drop randomly. While there’s no guaranteed way to obtain them, looting residential buildings during active map conditions can increase your chances.
One such key is the Dam Staff Room Key, used inside the Research & Administration Building on the Dam Battlegrounds location.
How to Use the Dam Staff Room Key in ARC Raiders
The Research & Administration (R&A) Building on Dam Battlegrounds is one of the busiest areas on the map. Because of this, heading there unprepared is risky. Other raiders are likely nearby—either engaged in combat or waiting for someone else to open the locked room.
It’s best to bring reliable gear, including Trigger Nades for firefights and Jolt Mines to trap entrances and avoid flanking attacks.
Match Start and Conditions
Start a match on Dam Battlegrounds and, if possible, select map conditions such as Hurricane, Night Raid, or Electromagnetic Storm to improve loot quality.
Routes to the Room
Once you spawn, head toward the R&A Building and choose your entry point:
- West Entrance — the fastest route, as the staff room door will be almost immediately in front of you.
- South Entrance — requires pushing deeper into the building while fighting enemies like Pops and Fireballs before reaching the locked door on the right.
- Alternative Routes — you can take the blue stairs to the upper level and drop into the main lobby, or enter from the lower tier and work your way up. These paths can help you avoid early encounters depending on enemy positions.
Loot and Safety
After unlocking the Staff Room, go inside and make sure to close the door behind you. The room contains several red lockers that can drop high-rarity gear, along with various small items that can be sold for coins.
Loot carefully, but stay alert — other players may attempt to rush in after hearing the door unlock.
