Full interview with dem0n after the FURIA match is now on YouTube!
How would you rate the synergy in the team right now? How well do you think you are already playing together from your point of view?
It’s very hard to assess because this is our second tournament with xfl0ud, and only time will tell whether we are playing well or badly. But right now we have very big ambitions, so I think everything is good for us right now.
Are you satisfied with your result at the tournament so far?
Yes, I think it’s a very good result because we already beat MOUZ on the arena, and that was kind of our new ceiling. And that’s why tomorrow we... also want to win, and that will be our other, second ceiling.
I asked your teammate: after this victory, you overtook NAVI in the Valve ranking, right? What do you think about that? Did you discuss it, did you talk about it as a team?
We don’t really look at NAVI, but we knew that we were definitely not weaker than them.
Well, that’s quite concise, interesting. FURIA, you have such a tough team ahead of you, with interesting fans, very loud ones. How would you rate the opponent overall, how difficult will it be to play against them?
I don’t know, we’ve always had good matches against FURIA, we’ve already beaten them. If you look at it from a “team versus team” perspective, we have very good chances. But I don’t know how it will be against their fans, and it’s going to be a very crazy match that I really want to play.
Do you like playing on the arena in general? Do you feel the pressure from the arena?
I think I felt it during the first match because it was some kind of new experience for me, but by the second map I already understood that this is my path, I have to play here, and this is my choice.
And the final question: you are one of the two Ukrainians who are still competing at EWC. What does it mean to you... well, to represent Ukraine on this big stage right now?
I think this... Can you ask the question again?
About you representing Ukraine... Because there were more than 10 players in total when the tournament started, which was a record. Now there are only two of you left, and you are still representing Ukraine. What does that mean to you personally?
It’s always good to represent your country when it is in the minority. And it is very important for the country and the development of esports in our country. So, I think it’s good that I’m doing this, and I’m happy about it.
Thank you.
Uh-huh. Thank you!
FUT Esports have another important match ahead, while dem0n remains one of the two Ukrainians still competing at EWC 2026.
For the player, the opportunity to represent Ukraine on such a big stage is especially meaningful, while the team continues to prove that it can compete with the strongest teams in the world.
As a reminder, FalleN on FURIA’s strength, the support of Brazilian fans, and the future of his career.
