A major leak has surfaced online regarding an unannounced Marvel project — an action RPG codenamed Project Comet. The game is being developed by Scopely, the studio known for titles such as Marvel Strike Force, Monopoly GO, and Star Trek Fleet Command.
The first information about the game was published earlier this month by insider Miller Ross on X. A closed test for iOS and Android users was also planned for June, although very few details were available at the time.
According to the leaks, Project Comet will feature a gacha system similar to that of Genshin Impact, allowing players to unlock Marvel heroes and villains and assemble teams from them. Structurally, the game draws inspiration from the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series: players will take part in four-player co-op missions with the option to select higher difficulty levels in exchange for greater rewards. The leaked roster includes both popular heroes (Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine) and characters less familiar to the broader audience (Elektra, Juggernaut, Silver Samurai).
Analysis of the leaked user interface suggests the game will feature traditional mobile controls, with each character possessing a unique set of abilities. At the moment, there is no mention of a possible PC release. Interestingly, some character models bear a strong resemblance to their counterparts from the upcoming shooter Marvel Rivals. According to sources, this is because the same artists are working on the visuals of both projects.
As a reminder, the Guatemala national team, featuring a player nicknamed Putin, recently qualified for ENC 2026 in League of Legends.
