Electronic Arts has announced the creation of a new dedicated division called EA Advertising, aimed at expanding and simplifying collaboration between brands and the publisher across its gaming portfolio and platforms.
According to EA, partners will be able to integrate branded content directly into gameplay in real time. This includes dynamic advertising placements in virtual stadiums, sponsored content, and unique in-game experiences. The company emphasizes that these integrations are intended to enhance user experience rather than disrupt gameplay.
The new division will operate across three main areas:
In-Game Integration
Creation of branded cosmetic items, themed challenges, online events, as well as sponsored replays and graphical overlays similar to those used in real-world sports broadcasts.
In-Game Media
Placement of advertisements and media content within the game environment itself.
IRL & Experiential
Traditional sponsorships outside of the digital space, including real-world events and activations tied to EA franchises.
As a reminder, NAVI have learned their first opponent in the European qualifier for The International 2026
