Epic Games Introduces Major RLCS 2027 Restructuring and Partnered Club Championship System

Epic Games has officially announced a fundamental revamp of the Rocket League Championship Series 2027 esports season. The main innovation is the Club Championship system, where 20 selected partner organizations from around the globe will compete for a share of a dedicated $1,300,000 prize pool distributed via Club Points.

Partner clubs have received direct invitations to all major LAN events of the season. At the same time, regional Open Qualifiers remain in place for non-partnered and open rosters, allowing winners to earn spots at international offline competitions.

The RLCS 2027 competitive year will consist of three main stages:

Ahead of the new season, a massive transfer wave has completely reshaped the competitive landscape. Star rosters for NRG, Team Vitality, and Karmine Corp have been disbanded. Notably, the legendary duo of Atomic and Daniel left NRG to join Shopify Rebellion, BeastMode moved to Gen.G, and World Champion Zen reinforced Gentle Mates alongside Atow and Vatira. In turn, Karmine Corp is building a new roster around M0nkey M00n.

Additionally, FaZe Clan has officially returned to the Rocket League ecosystem with a South American roster, joined by organizations new to the discipline, including All Gamers Global and Wolves Esports. In total, 20 organizations will participate in the club system in 2027, including Team Falcons, FURIA, Spacestation Gaming, Manchester City Esports, among others.
