The online Dota 2 tournament, EPL Masters I, is moving to its decisive Playoffs stage. The final team to receive a direct invitation to the final phase of the competition is Natus Vincere.
A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament. The competition is divided into two stages: a round-robin group stage and a double-elimination playoff bracket. According to the EPL Masters I rules, four invited teams receive direct spots straight to the playoff stage, bypassing the group games.
The decisive matches of the tournament will take place from August 9 to 12. All playoff series, including the Grand Final, will be played in a best-of-three format. The teams will share a total prize pool of $100,000, with the winner taking home $50,000, while the silver and bronze medalists will earn $25,000 and $13,000, respectively.
Natus Vincere will begin their playoff journey in the upper bracket quarterfinals. The team's first opponent in the fight to advance to the next round will be Zero Tenacity.
