ESL Pro League Season 24: Semi-Finals Set to Take Place Today as Aurora Look to Get Revenge on Vitality

October 10 will see the semi-final matches of ESL Pro League Season 24 take place at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland. Vitality, Aurora, MOUZ, and Spirit will battle for a place in the grand final. In the opening match, Aurora will look to get revenge on Vitality for their recent defeat in the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 grand final, while MOUZ will face Spirit after an impressive run at the tournament.

Vitality vs Aurora: A Chance for Revenge

The first semi-final will feature two teams that recently met in the grand final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026. Vitality won that best-of-five series 3–1, claiming the title and leaving Aurora in second place. Aurora will now have an opportunity to respond to that defeat and secure a place in the ESL Pro League final.

Vitality, however, enters the semi-final in outstanding form. The team comfortably defeated PARIVISION 2–0 in the quarter-finals, crushing their opponents 13–2 on Inferno before closing out Dust II 13–10. Their individual performances have also been impressive: three Vitality players rank second, third, and fourth in the ESL Pro League Season 24 player ratings. This further underlines the threat they pose to Aurora.

Aurora also made it through the quarter-finals convincingly, defeating 1w Team 2–0, with 13–9 on Dust II and 13–8 on Anubis. However, a much tougher challenge awaits them in the semi-finals. To get revenge for their StarSeries Fall defeat, Aurora will need to find answers to Vitality's consistent team play and individual firepower.

MOUZ vs Spirit: Can MOUZ Continue Their Unbeaten Map Run?

The second semi-final promises to be just as exciting. MOUZ have been incredibly consistent throughout the tournament and have yet to lose a map across their four matches. The team progressed confidently through the group stage before defeating FURIA 2–0 in the quarter-finals. MOUZ secured a close 13–11 victory on Nuke before sealing the series with a more convincing 13–6 win on Inferno. This run makes them one of the most intriguing teams in the current playoffs.

However, Spirit also have serious ambitions. In the quarter-finals, they defeated Falcons 2–0, winning Mirage 13–8 and Anubis 13–10. Spirit managed to withstand their opponents' pressure and close out both maps, although the battle on Anubis was considerably closer.

MOUZ have already defeated Spirit earlier in the ESL Pro League Season 24 group stage. That series ended 2–0, with MOUZ winning 13–5 on Dust II and 13–11 on Mirage. Spirit will now have a chance to get revenge, but MOUZ will look to extend their unbeaten map streak and take another step towards the title.
