French entrepreneur and head of the international esports agency Prodigy Agency, Jérôme Coupez, has officially joined the ownership group of French football club Le Mans FC. He announced the move in a LinkedIn post.
Coupez has become a co-owner of the club after the team secured promotion to Ligue 1 for the 2026/27 season. The club finished second in Ligue 2 and confirmed its promotion with a 2:0 away victory against SC Bastia.
Jérôme Coupez is best known as the founder and CEO of Prodigy Agency, one of the largest talent management companies in esports. The agency represents top players including Mathieu ZywOo Herbaut and Viktor sdy Orudzhev, among many others across different esports disciplines.
As a reminder, the Forza Horizon franchise reportedly generated around $140 million through its Premium Edition sales.
