EWC released details of the Fortnite Reload Elite Series

The organizers of the Esports World Cup have published details about the Fortnite Reload Elite Series, which will be part of the event. The tournament will take place on August 19–22 and will feature a $1 million prize pool.

Forty teams will be determined through Reload Elite Series qualifiers, which are open to the following regions: Europe, Central North America, Western North America, Asia, the Middle East, Brazil, and Oceania. The duos will be divided into two groups.

The competition will be played across eight maps. The top seven duos from each group will advance directly to the finals. The remaining teams will compete for the final spots, with six more teams from this stage also qualifying for the finals.

Each club may field only one duo, which will represent it throughout the entire tournament. The points earned by this duo will count toward the Club Championship standings. If multiple duos from the same club qualify, the right to represent the club goes to the duo that qualifies first. Other players from the club may participate in the tournament but will not be able to earn points for the club standings.

As a reminder, PUBG: Blindspot has been released in early access.
