Faceit Matches Instead of Practice: Phantom Part Ways with Player

Polish organization Phantom have officially kicked academy player chedzik from their roster.

The decision was reportedly caused by disciplinary issues and conflicts within the team. According to the organization, the player repeatedly missed practice sessions, claiming he needed to focus on studying and exams.

At the same time, chedzik remained active on Faceit, playing 24 matches during his exam period alone. In comparison, he spent only around five hours practicing with the team and played just one official BO1 match. Phantom stated that they tried to resolve the situation internally and even reduced his workload during exams, but eventually lost trust in the player.

As a reminder, 9z Globant have announced a new co-owner — Argentine rapper Duki
