Faker Takes Center Stage in Worlds 2026 Anthem — Know My Name

Riot Games has released the music video and official anthem for the League of Legends World Championship — Worlds 2026. The song, Know My Name, is performed by the virtual hip-hop group True Damage, which has returned after a seven-year hiatus. It marks the first Worlds anthem in history to be performed by virtual artists created by Riot Games.

The music video centers on Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s career and his journey to three consecutive Worlds titles with T1. It revisits his victories at the 2013, 2015, and 2016 championships, featuring his iconic performances on Ahri, Ryze, and Orianna. The video also highlights the difficult periods without titles before Faker returned to the top alongside the ZOFGK roster.

Special attention is given to Faker’s fourth and fifth Worlds titles, including standout moments on Akali and Galio. The video reaches its climax with T1’s dramatic 3–2 victory over KT Rolster in last year’s Grand Final. Faker’s performance on Anivia features prominently in the decisive moments. The victory secured his sixth World Championship title and completed a historic three-peat.

Several renowned musicians contributed to True Damage’s return, including SOYEON of (G)I-DLE, who voices Akali, as well as Coco Jones, Vic Mensa, and Sofía Reyes. According to Maria Egan, Riot Games’ Head of Music and Events, True Damage was chosen because the group perfectly matches the atmosphere of New York City, which will host the tournament’s Grand Final.

True Damage will perform Know My Name live during the opening ceremony of the Worlds 2026 Grand Final, scheduled for November 15 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The World Championship will begin on October 16 with the Play-In stage in Los Angeles. The Swiss Stage will start on October 24 and feature T1 alongside three other LCK representatives: Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, and Dplus KIA.
