FIFA Unveils New Digital Strategy: Multi-Partner Ecosystem and Netflix Game Launch

FIFA has officially announced an updated version of its long-term Digital Football Strategy.

The biggest change is the transition from a single exclusive partnership model to a multi-partner ecosystem structure. According to FIFA, this new approach will help expand the organization’s reach and strengthen its presence across multiple gaming genres ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

FIFA’s new gaming portfolio already includes partnerships with companies such as Roblox, Epic Games, Konami, SEGA / Sports Interactive, Gamefam, Mythical Games, and Solace Games.

The strategy spans a broad range of products — from hyper-casual games to professional esports under the FIFAe brand — while aiming to maintain low entry barriers and unified global standards for players and national associations.

FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström stated that building a scalable gaming and esports foundation creates new opportunities for interaction between FIFA’s 211 national associations and commercial partners. The organization’s goal is to establish a sustainable and adaptable ecosystem aligned with modern football industry trends.
