Day 4 of the League of Legends World Championship Main Event brought the first eliminations. Team Secret Whales (TSW) and Anyone's Legend (AL)—the first seeds from the LCP and LPL respectively—lost their elimination series and left the Swiss Stage. Meanwhile, Brazil's LØS and North America's Team Liquid Alienware secured crucial victories, moving to a 1-2 record.
The Brazilian squad LØS kept their tournament hopes alive by sweeping TSW 2-0. In the first game, which lasted almost 40 minutes, LØS managed to neutralize their opponent's early lead through better macro play and a victorious Baron fight. In the second game, the Brazilians methodically built an economic advantage, executing it in the decisive fight for the third dragon. TSW finished the tournament in 15th-16th place.
In the other elimination series, LCS champions Team Liquid defeated Anyone’s Legend. The first game saw complete dominance by Team Liquid, who finished with a gold lead of over 14,000. The second game proved much closer, lasting around 45 minutes. The match was decided in the fight for the Infernal Dragon Soul, where Sean “Yeon” Sung secured the victory for the North American team. Chinese powerhouse AL left the tournament without a single series win.
In the 1-1 bracket matches, T1 and Bilibili Gaming celebrated success. Both teams secured their second tournament victories (2-1) and are now just one step away from advancing to the Knockout Stage.
The Round 4 draw has already matched the survivors of this matchday against each other. In the next match, Team Liquid Alienware will face LØS in a best-of-three series, where the winning team will stay alive in the tournament, and the loser will officially exit Worlds 2026.
