The VALORANT tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026 continues its group stage, with the first two playoff teams now confirmed. At the same time, two teams have been eliminated from the competition.
From Group A, 100 Thieves secured a place in the playoffs. The North American squad began its campaign with a 2–1 victory over Rex Regum Qeon before defeating Turkey's BBL Esports by the same 2–1 scoreline in the playoff qualification match.
Group B was won by European powerhouse Team Vitality. The "Bees" opened the tournament with a 2–0 victory over regional rivals Karmine Corp before booking their playoff spot by overcoming NRG 2–1.
The first teams to be eliminated from the tournament are Rex Regum Qeon and Paper Rex, the runners-up of Masters London 2026.
VALORANT at Esports World Cup 2026 is taking place in Paris, France, from July 2–12, featuring a $2 million prize pool.
Earlier, Ukraine won the Warcraft III: Reforged Nations Tournament, defeating Germany in the grand final.
