The Hot Bat Summer event has introduced several new additions to Fortnite, including DC-themed content, Batman's Beach Buggy, and an exclusive Mythic sniper rifle. Unlike most Mythic weapons, this one isn't tied to a boss encounter. Here's everything you need to know about getting it.
How to Unlock the Mythic Mighty Impact Sniper Rifle
The Mythic Mighty Impact Sniper Rifle can only be obtained from Epic Sprite Vaults during the Hot Bat Summer event. It has temporarily taken the place of the Mythic Hunting Rifle, making these Vaults the only source of the weapon.
Only two Epic Sprite Vaults appear on the island each match:
- Near Sinister Strip, underneath The Shape
- Beneath the eastern building at Frosted Flats
To access either Vault, you'll first need to find an Epic Vault Keycard. These keycards have a random chance of dropping from both standard Chests and Rare Chests. Once you have one, head to either Vault and use the keycard to unlock it.
Each Vault always contains one Mythic Mighty Impact Sniper Rifle, meaning only two players can secure this weapon in a single match. гвинтівки.
Should You Use the Mythic Mighty Impact Sniper Rifle?
While the Mythic edition doesn't include any exclusive abilities, it improves on the standard Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle with higher damage output and a quicker reload.
Like the rest of the Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle family, it benefits from a 3x headshot multiplier, making it capable of eliminating fully healthy opponents with a single headshot in both Build and Zero Build playlists.
Another major advantage is the absence of damage falloff. A well aimed shot can eliminate enemies from virtually any range, provided you correctly account for bullet drop. The rifle is also highly effective against structures, destroying most building pieces with a single hit.
