Fans of arcade racing games can finally jump into Forza Horizon 6, as the new title from Playground Games is now available on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game is also included with Game Pass Ultimate.
Players who purchased the Premium Edition were able to start racing across Japan several days early, and the game has already received very positive feedback. Even during early access, Forza Horizon 6 managed to break the franchise’s Steam concurrent player record, attracting more than 181,000 players online.
Critics have also praised the new release. Reviewers note that the game doesn’t try to reinvent the series formula, instead delivering the same fast-paced open-world racing experience packed with activities, tracks, and game modes. The customization system has also been highlighted, allowing players to personalize more than 550 cars available at launch.
Forza Horizon 6 currently holds a score of 92 on Metacritic and a 100% recommendation rate on OpenCritic.
The developers have already promised extensive post-launch content support, while a PlayStation 5 version is planned for a later release.
