Only three days remain until the release of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, even though the embargo on gameplay videos is still in effect. Despite that, the YouTube channel Skill Games has published nearly four hours of gameplay from the ambitious remake of the beloved 2013 pirate adventure. The footage was captured on PS5 Pro in 4K at 60 FPS.
The footage showcases the opening chapters of Edward Kenway's journey, his first encounter with a mysterious Assassin, intense naval battles, exploration of the starting areas, stealth through the streets of Havana, and a visit to the pirate stronghold of Nassau. Fans of the original will also notice a major change. The modern day Abstergo office sections have been removed and replaced with faster paced, optional sequences that expand the story set in the 21st century.
While the upgraded combat system and modern visuals are the biggest highlights, the remake also introduces an expanded storyline featuring entirely new characters and additional cinematic scenes.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on July 9 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
