FURIA defeated Aurora in the semifinals of IEM Cologne Major 2026 in CS2 to become the first team to secure a spot in the grand final. The series ended in a convincing 2-0 victory for FURIA (13:9 on Dust2 and 13:4 on Nuke).
Aurora have been eliminated from the tournament, finishing in 3rd-4th place and earning $80,000 in prize money. The team began its campaign from Stage 3, advanced to the playoffs with a 3-1 record, and defeated BB 2-0 in the quarterfinals.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany. The tournament features a prize pool of $1.25 million.
