FURIA reach the IEM Krakow final after beating Spirit

FURIA became the first grand finalists of IEM Krakow 2026 after defeating Spirit 2–1 in the semi-final. The main hero of the series was AWPer Danil “molodoy” Golubenko, who played a decisive role in the victory.

On Mirage, FURIA secured the win only in overtime, where molodoy delivered crucial frags and helped his team close the map 16–13. However, he was mostly quiet on Dust2, and Spirit confidently tied the series. The decider on Nuke turned into his stage again: he opened with a P250 triple, won a 1v2 clutch, and repeatedly delivered key rounds. In the end, FURIA took the map with a strong T side and advanced to the grand final.

For the Brazilian squad, this is their first grand final appearance in the last three months. In the deciding match of IEM Krakow, they will face the winner of the MOUZ vs. Vitality semi-final.

For reference, the prize pool of the FC Pro World Championship will be $1.5 million.
