GTA 6 Fans Panic After Release Date Disappears from Official Website

Rockstar Games has unveiled the cover art for GTA 6 and announced that pre-orders will begin on June 25. At the same time, the game's official website was updated, and all mentions of its release date disappeared from the page.

The removal of this information sparked a wave of concern across social media. Some players interpreted the move as a sign that the developers may be preparing to announce yet another delay.

The updated GTA 6 page is now focused primarily on the new cover art and the pre-order launch date. It also lists the platforms on which the game will be released.

The disappearance of the specific release date could be nothing more than a technical oversight during the website update, or it may be a deliberate decision by Rockstar Games, which could be assuming that the release date is already widely known and therefore choosing to focus attention exclusively on pre-orders.

Despite the growing speculation online, there is currently little concrete reason for concern. While the release date has vanished from Rockstar's main website, November 19 is still displayed across all other gaming platforms where the title is available for pre-order.

As a reminder, two Ukrainian players have qualified for the ENC 2026 chess tournament.
