Guide: How to Get the Mythic Vini Jr. Sprite in Fortnite

With the release of update 41.20, Fortnite has introduced a Mythic Sprite for the star Brazilian winger Vini Jr., complementing his Icon Series skin. This companion is designed for an aggressive, close-range playstyle, as it transforms the player's slide into a weapon and boosts weapon handling after knocking enemies over. Under normal conditions, sliding into an opponent only shoves them a short distance without dealing damage, meaning the entire offensive capability is tied directly to having this Sprite active.

The new Mythic Sprite does not have a fixed spawn point; instead, it appears as a random loot drop wherever Sprites spawn on the Chapter 7 Season 3 island. Due to its Mythic rarity, the odds of obtaining it from a normal chest are slim. Sprite Chests offer the best probability, as they contain higher-rarity loot.

To maximize your chances, it is recommended to open as many Sprite Chests as possible before the storm forces you to move, or simply eliminate a rival player who has already picked it up. One reliable hunting location is the lighthouse at Calamari Canyon, where several standard chests alongside a Sprite Chest are stacked on the platform below the balcony. If the Sprite isn't turning up for a long time, players should focus on routes that pass through multiple Sprite Chests per drop.

The mechanic is tied to dynamic movement. The companion features two key functions, with their effectiveness scaling up with each level (from 1 to 5):

Finding the Sprite is only half the battle—you must successfully extract it, otherwise it will be lost along with the rest of your equipment if you get eliminated. The process to permanently add it to your collection involves the following steps:

Once successfully extracted, the Sprite is permanently saved to your profile. From then on, it can be freely equipped before any match or summoned back if dropped mid-game. It costs 0 resources to summon, meaning there is no resource barrier to using it once owned.
