Exotic Skills are powerful abilities introduced in the new Endgame mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. They are required to gain unique perks and enhance your character.
How to Unlock Exotic Skills
If you go to the Operator Abilities section in the loadout menu, you’ll see the “Exotic Skills” tab at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t have any yet, it will show an empty circle.
Since it’s easy to miss the reward notification in the heat of battle, here are the main ways to obtain them:
- Completing contracts in Tier IV (difficulty level IV).
- Killing elite enemies in Tier IV.
- Searching special stashes (Exotic Skill caches).
- Completing World Boss Events.
The easiest method is World Bosses. They appear in every Endgame match and are almost impossible to fail. Winning rewards you with Exotic Skills. If you already have one, the next reward will let you either upgrade your current skill or replace it with a new one.
List of All Exotic Skills in Endgame
- Mega Punch — Your weapon butt strike is replaced with a deadly punch that knocks enemies back and deals massive damage.
- Conjuration — After killing a certain number of enemies, you can summon Toxic Butterflies that chase and attack opponents.
- Echo Shell — Significantly reduces the damage you take from attacks to your back.
- Celebration — Enemies damaged by your equipment have a chance to trigger mortar shells that strike targets.
- Frost Cloud — Enemies damaged by equipment may create a freezing cloud that slows them down.
- Resurrection — When you take lethal damage, you become temporarily invulnerable instead of dying. Can be used once per match.
- Shattered Shield — When your armor plates break, nearby enemies are stunned and damaged.
- Graviton Reaction — Taking melee hits can create a Black Hole that pulls in and damages enemies.
As a reminder, Battlefield 6 has received patch 1.1.3.5, bringing major changes to aviation and close-quarters combat.
