Cyberleek, a hacker or hacking group previously linked to controversial Grand Theft Auto VI leaks, has made a bold claim about releasing a fully playable build of the game to the public. According to the threat, the leaked version would allegedly allow players to complete GTA VI from beginning to end, including the final credits.
Cyberleek has set two possible conditions for releasing the build. The first is for its cryptocurrency token to reach a market capitalization of $30 million. The second is for Take-Two Interactive to reject the hacker's previous demand to release GTA VI on physical discs and issue a public apology for an unspecified reason. No specific deadline has been announced.
However, journalists and specialists urge caution when assessing these claims. Previous leaks appear to have originated from outdated development builds, meaning the promise of releasing a complete version of GTA VI could simply be a publicity stunt. Neither Rockstar nor Take-Two Interactive has commented on the situation so far.
Grand Theft Auto VI is officially scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
