As part of the Esports World Cup 2026 championship, an official midseason tournament for the mobile MOBA Honor of Kings / Arena of Valor will take place. A total of 20 teams will compete in the event, with champions from Arena of Valor leagues competing alongside Honor of Kings squads, featuring characters from both versions of the game.
The overall prize pool for the tournament stands at $3,000,000, with the champions taking home $600,000. In addition to cash rewards, participants will battle for critical EWC Club Championship points. The event will run from July 30 to August 8, 2026, with official English broadcasts available on the YouTube and Twitch channels of the Esports World Cup and Honor of Kings Esports.
The tournament format is divided into three consecutive stages:
- Play-In (July 30–31): Eight lower-seeded teams will compete across two double-elimination groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the next stage.
- Group Stage (August 1–4): Four double-elimination groups. The winners of the upper and lower bracket finals will secure spots in the playoffs.
- Playoffs (August 5–8): The top eight teams will fight for the trophy in a single-elimination bracket, which also includes a dedicated third-place decider match.
The action kicks off on July 30 with the Play-In stage. Opening Group A matches will feature Buriram United against Team Flash and S8UL Esports against Influence Rage, while Group B will see NS RedForce face OG Esports and Deep Cross Gaming take on Blacklist International.
