A new challenge has appeared in ARC Raiders: deal damage to flying ARC enemies inside the Spaceport Walls. The problem is that the description of this trial is quite vague and does not explain what exactly players need to do to complete it.
Where to find the required area
The first thing you need to know is that hunting flying enemies must take place in a strictly defined area on the Spaceport map.
Find the “exclusion zone” — the territory enclosed by a perimeter wall inside the Spaceport. Use the Launch Towers as a reference point: move diagonally from the back side of the towers near the Trench that runs along most of the inner perimeter of the map.
Some walls there are destroyed, especially in the area where the Queen spawns, but enemies you shoot down inside this zone will still count toward the challenge.
Avoid the areas near the Rocket Assembly buildings and Control Tower A6 — they are outside the required perimeter. Instead, stay closer to the Launch Tower zone, near the Departure and Arrival buildings, and you will complete the challenge quickly.
Best conditions to complete the challenge
The ideal map state for completing this trial and earning extra points is the Launch Tower Lockdown event. During it, a huge number of flying ARC enemies spawn near the launch towers, allowing you to farm kills quickly.
Watch out for the three Rocketeers that spawn as a group, the Leapers patrolling the area, and also for sneaky enemy players who may try to take advantage of the puzzle event near the Launch Tower to kill you easily.
Tips for completing the challenge successfully
Using the Hornet Drive is enough to take down a Rocketeer. Just aim at its engine while it is in patrol mode, throw a Hornet Drive at it, then approach and hit the engine with a pickaxe.
To gain the maximum number of points, players can use the Anvil or Hullcracker weapons. However, there is an even faster method — using cheap and easy-to-craft Seeker Grenades. They cost 2× Arc Alloy and 1× Crude Explosives. You can easily gather a lot of these materials by killing Pops and Fireballs, or simply by looting after destroying enemies.
Recall that the first story DLC for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be shown at Xbox Partner Preview.
