How to Earn Camp Funds in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, players have two primary ways to collect Camp Funds. You can either contribute funds directly to Carl, the camp’s Provisions Keeper at Howling Hill, or send your Greymanes on missions that list Camp Funds as rewards. Here’s a clear breakdown of both methods.

There are two core approaches to building up your Camp Funds:

Donating Camp Funds to Carl

If you are having trouble finding Carl, check the Provisions Keeper icon on the camp map and zoom in if necessary. If he is missing, it may be tied to story progression or the current game state. Resting at a bed or bonfire will refresh NPC positions, which usually brings him back.

Sending Comrades on Shield Missions

Once assigned, your comrades will automatically complete the mission and bring back Camp Funds. Since these tasks can be repeated, you can keep sending units to generate a steady and effectively unlimited income over time.

Each mission takes a certain amount of in-game time to finish, but you can speed this up by resting at a bed or bonfire.

If Ross is not available, you can still dispatch units through the map interface. Open the map, navigate to the Factions section, and locate missions marked with the shield icon. Select the location, go to the Missions tab, and assign your comrades there. This option unlocks after completing the Chapter 3 main quest Bustling Hill, when the Howling Hill camp is upgraded.
